What to include
A good enquiry helps the contractor plan the visit and bring the right gear:
- Your suburb and street, so the right contractor is contacted
- The tree: species if you know it, rough height, and whether it is alive, dead or damaged
- What you want done: lopping, pruning, removal, stump grinding or a storm clean-up
- What is nearby: house, roof, shed, pool, fence, power lines, the neighbour's property
- Access: side gate widths, steps, slopes, and where vehicles can park
- Photos: the whole tree, the base, and whatever is under or near it
- Timing: whether it is urgent, or anything to work around
Urgent situations
If a tree or limb has fallen on a building, car or driveway, keep everyone clear. If it is touching or near power lines, stay well away and contact Western Power first. Then call us with the details.
