What we are
Tree Loppers Scarborough is a referral service. We take enquiries from people in Scarborough and the surrounding City of Stirling suburbs who need tree work done, and pass them to independent local tree contractors who inspect the job, quote it in writing and carry it out.
We are not a tree company and we do not employ climbers or ground crews. When you accept a quote, your agreement is with the contractor who gave it.
Why a referral service
Finding someone for tree work can be harder than it should be. Plenty of businesses advertise across the whole of Perth, and it is not always clear who will turn up or what the price includes. We focus on one stretch of coast, and we try to make the first step simple: one phone number, one form, and an enquiry that reaches a contractor who works locally.
What we ask of contractors
We ask the contractors we work with to:
- look at the tree before giving a price, and put that price in writing
- describe the work clearly: what is cut, how it comes down, what happens to the stump and the waste
- hold the licences and insurance the job needs, and show them when asked
- cut to sound growth points rather than topping trees
- leave the site clean
If a contractor does not meet those expectations, we want to hear about it.
What we do not claim
You will not find star ratings, award badges, job counts or years-in-business figures on this site. We would rather you judge the contractor on the quote they give you and the work they do. Ask to see a current certificate of insurance before anyone starts, and do not hesitate to ask questions about the method.
